Q: What can I expect as a member? A: As a member of The Tran Institute, you’ll gain access to: ✅ A growing library of high-yield video content focused on academic success, admissions strategy, learning techniques, exam prep, and more. ✅ New content added regularly, based on member interests and evolving needs. ✅ The ability to request specific topics you’d like to see covered in future videos. ✅ Community engagement through our website and social media platforms (see homepage links). In addition, members have the exclusive option to: 📅 Book 1-on-1 consultations with Dr. Tran (subject to availability and an additional fee). Note: Only members can access the full site and schedule individual consultations.

Q: Can memberships/content be shared? A: Each individual must have their own membership to access the site and its content. The only exception is for a parent and their child, who may share a single membership if they are using the content together. Each membership will only grant access to one membership track (ie, college, high school, post-graduate, medical school, residency, etc). If you need to access different tracks, this would require separate memberships. To maintain fairness and the integrity of our community, we kindly ask that memberships and content not be shared beyond this allowance.

Q: Will this site teach or tutor specific topics or exams? A: The primary focus of The Tran Institute is not to teach specific subject matter or exam content, but rather to empower you with broad, high-impact strategies for learning and admissions success. While examples may occasionally touch on specific topics or exams, our goal is to teach: How to learn effectively, not just what to learn. How to approach admissions strategically, rather than focusing on a single program or pathway. We believe in the timeless principle: “Give a person a fish, and you feed them for a day. Teach them how to fish, and you feed them for a lifetime.” By helping you build the mindset, habits, and strategy behind success, we aim to prepare you for a lifetime of achievement across a wide range of academic and professional goals.

Q: How do 1-on-1 consultations work? A: Once you become a member and purchase a consultation package, you'll be able to schedule your session through our booking calendar. Here’s how the process works: Submit a brief intake form Before your session, you’ll be asked to share your goals, questions, and any specific topics you’d like to discuss. This helps us prepare and ensures your time is used efficiently. Prepare your materials You’ll be asked to have any relevant documents (e.g., resumes, drafts, score reports) submitted and ready prior to the meeting so we can focus on strategy, feedback, and results—not searching for files. Join via video call A secure meeting link will be emailed to you after your session is confirmed. If your question or topic falls outside the scope of what we offer, you'll be notified in advance with the option to revise your request or cancel for a full refund.

Q: What if I’m interested in a program or job unrelated to medical or business school? A: You're absolutely welcome to join. While our examples may often reference medical or business pathways, the core strategies we teach—on learning, planning, and admissions—are broadly applicable across many fields. For instance, Dr. Tran successfully applied to top MBA programs without a formal business background, simply by applying the same strategic principles shared through this platform.
